Taylor Jackson & Lindsay Coulter

Creating a Documentary Surrounding the Startup Community

In this episode of AQ’s Blog and Grill, Alan chats with the filmmakers behind ‘Startup Community’. Director Taylor Jackson and producer Lindsay Coulter talk about getting started with this documentary on entrepreneurship and startups, and how they exceeded their Indiegogo campaign goal in just 60 hours.

Taylor and Lindsay share experiences about the process of filming incredible startup stories like that of Vidyard, Thalmic Labs, BufferBox, BlackBerry, Dandy Co, Communitech and many more. They discuss the blurred lines between photography and film, how they began their journey with wedding photography, and the importance of investing in your own community.
