Looneyspoons Co-Author Greta Podleski

Creating a BestSelling Cookbook

Looneyspoons started with an idea to do something that no one had ever done before; write fun, funny, healthy cookbooks. Looneyspoons co-author, Greta Podleski, chats with Alan about how she and her sister Janet began with an idea, a shoe-string budget and a lot of passion, and ended up with an award-winning cookbook. She talks about being rejected by almost every publisher and the importance of perseverance, as well as doing their own market research to prove their idea would strike gold.

Greta and Janet put everything on the line while always thinking, "What's the worst that could happen?". Early in their journey they got help from "The Wealthy Barber" author David Chilton, simply by being courageous. Greta Podleski shares advice for creating a personal brand and using social media. She also discusses the challenges of being a female entrepreneur, and the success of their new Youtube channel, "Health Nuts with Janet and Greta”.
